Wir sind ein Konsortium aus sechs Organisationen mit einem vertieften Hintergrund in MedTech und Digital Health. Wir haben uns zusammengeschlossen um unser gemeinsames Ziel zu erreichen:
Innovation zu den Patienten bringen.
Wir glauben fest daran, dass eine starke fokussierung auf die Nutzer zu einer Steigerung der Innovation in den MedTech- und Digital Health-Branchen der Schweiz führen wird. Wir wollen die Einbindung der Nutzer von medizinischen Geräten in den frühen Entwicklungsphasen fördern und die Markteinführung von vielversprechenden Medizinprodukten beschleunigen.
Die sechs Konsortiumsorganisationen werden jeweils von einer Key Person repräsentiert:

The Eastern Switzerland University of Applied Sciences with its MedTech Lab is the Leading House of our NTN Innovation Booster. We offer a wide spectrum of competencies while adding experience from the MedTech sector. We tackle medical challenges with technical and scientific methods, and we support our partners all the way through to a commercially successful application with patients.

Health Tech Cluster Switzerland is a network of manufacturers, suppliers, research and training institutions, service providers and investors in the field of health technologies. The cluster brings together companies from the medical technology, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, diagnostics and healthcare sectors in a profitable way, thereby increasing value creation. In addition, we actively support creative minds with know-how and opportunities for exchange when founding their companies.

The Swiss Institute for Translational and Entrepreneurial Medicine in Berne is a non-profit public private partnership that was created to establish, operate and develop a National Center of Excellence that promotes innovation in the medical field at the regional, national, and international level. We believe that sitem-insel with its mission to “bring innovation to the patient – by connecting people” is key for our NTN Innovation Booster.

The University of Bern, Center for Translational Medicine and Biomedical Entrepreneurship has well established contacts with University Hospital, academic and industrial partners to foster a sustainable environment for translational medicine. We are convinced that the joint efforts between the University of Bern and all consortium partners will significantly strengthen the innovation in Medtech and Digital Health and will be crucial to be at the forefront of national and international competition.

The BFH Centre Health Technologies of the Bern University of Applied Sciences is composed of 5 technology-oriented institutes that jointly concentrate the applied R&D on the medtech and healthcare sector. High-level infrastructure such as the living lab, movement lab or ISO class 6 clean room for quality-controlled manufacturing and close collaborations with hospital and industrial partners foster innovations along the entire process chain, for the benefit of the patient.

Switzerland Innovation Park Biel/Bienne is a non-profit hub for innovation and runs workshops and innovation projects with partners from industry and academia to translate research results into marketable products. SIPBB runs open innovation labs to foster the open culture of innovation between actors from industry and research. The Swiss HealthTech Center is a research center for innovation in medtech and health at SIPBB.
